In addition to frontline custody duties, I also served as an Internal Affairs Correctional Investigator, where I was tasked with conducting thorough and impartial investigations into staff misconduct, policy violations, and use-of-force incidents. This role required strong attention to detail, report writing skills, evidence collection, interviewing witnesses and staff, and ensuring all findings were documented in accordance with departmental policies and legal standards. My combined experience has strengthened my ability to remain professional under pressure, uphold ethical standards, and ensure accountability and integrity within the correctional system.
